• The goal of a Doctor of Chiropractic is to remove subluxations or misalignments of your vertebrae which put pressure on your nervous system and can limit your normal spinal motion and function. 

• Spinal adjustments consist of the use of gentle directional force to move stuck or subluxated (misaligned) vertebrae or joints back to their normal position, relieving pressure on the nerve and allowing the body to receive the energy and signals needed to heal itself.

What to expect

Each patient is unique and complex with their condition so predicting outcomes following treatment is difficult. However, listed is what most patients experience following chiropractic care.
 

Feeling great: Most patients feel some effect of the adjustment immediately describing the effect as a surge of energy and vitality with an almost immediate decrease in the symptoms they’ve been experiencing.   Here’s what we hear every day “Wow!  That’s moving great!  That’s what it’s supposed to feel like”.
 

Minor Discomforts:  Although many of the changes taking place feel great, there are some which may cause minor discomfort. This is not uncommon. For instance, some soreness may be expected, although it is normally quite mild and usually temporary. After all, the muscles around the area have been “trained” to pull in certain directions. Their muscle memory learned incorrect postures, so the body needs to relearn correct posture and proper alignment
